As part of the 32nd EFA Annual Meeting the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management (EIASM) and the European Finance Association (EFA) will jointly organise a one-day tutorial for PhD students. Outstanding PhD students will have the opportunity to discuss their dissertation research with other doctoral students and leading academics in the field of finance.

The tutorial will take place on Wednesday, August 24, 2005, and will be chaired by Bruno Gérard (Norwegian School of Management – BI and Tilburg University) and Frans de Roon (Tilburg University).

We are pleased to announce that Inquire UK and Inquire Europe are sponsoring a prize for the best tutorial paper and that participation in the Tutorial will be free for students attending the 32nd EFA Annual Meeting.

The deadline for paper submission for the EFA 2005 Doctoral Tutorial has passed on March 1, 2005. The results are expected in mid May. The authors will be notified by e-mail.
